Hotel Katerina Sarayı 1877 mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, teres dan restoran di Kars. Our stay here was an absolutely wonderful experience. We were very late checking in and this was no problem whatever. In fact, they took their own initiative and ordered a taxi for us from the station. When we got there, they contacted a local restaurant that was actually closed and persuaded them to cook a wonderful meal for us. They got us a taxi there and the food was ready when we arrived. The taxi waited for us and dropped us back to the hotel 20 minutes later. They also arranged a taxi for us for the following day to take us from Kars to the border, crossing into Georgia at Sarpi. They honestly could not have done more or been more obliging. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and the hotel itself is truly beautiful. I could not recommend this hotel more highly, and I am very grateful to Mustafa, to Ibrahim and all the staff that made our stay so special. If I am ever back in Kars, this is the only place I would stay.

The location is smack in the middle of Kars, just under Kars castle and central to lots of restaurants. You're not going to beat this location with any other hotel, bar none. The hotel is new and in a super-nicely converted building (it's unclear what it was - but perhaps a large barn or stables of some sort) and it combines rustic features of old stone with nice new, warm wood. The rooms were nicely sized and comfortable and the bathrooms modern with all the amenities we were looking for. The hotel is adjoined to a popular cafe in Kars (which is also owned by them) and served up an overwhelming traditional Turkish breakfast everyday. Super value in this.

Featuring free WiFi and a barbecue, Sarikamis Habitat Hotel offers accommodation in Sarıkamıs. The hotel has a spa centre, indoor swimming pool and a sauna, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. We loved how welcoming and hospitable the staff was towards us! Whatever request we had, they tried hard to meet it! They also carried out extra efforts to make our Christmas a special one! Serkan was a very friendly staff member who was quick to answer to any questions we had and helped us out all the time...including whilst skiing! The room is also very cosy and the food was always plentiful and good. Definitely a hotel to recommend!

Located in an old Russian building in the city centre of Kars, Kar's Otel offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. Free private parking is possible on site. It was a lovely hotel and the staff were most accommodating. We had some trouble with the Wi-Fi and the staff were so helpful until we had our computers going. The breakfast was really nice. They were also helpful in finding us a wonderful guide and recommendations for dinner.

The New Marathon Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Elazig. All its rooms offer air conditioning, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The location is just 15 minutes away from the airport. we arrived late, but they helped us by giving us by surprise the wonderful and big suite. The staff is very helpful and breakfast from top of the hotel gives a beautiful view over the city and mountain. In just a 200 meters from the hotel there is a bazaar with great smelling herbs and sweets. I would recommend to take a taxi to Harput Castle, it’s 20 minutes. The water dam is almost 1 hour, with the taxi it’s gonna cost you just 700/800 TL. Conclusion; do not only use Elazig Airport as a stop over, but stay at least two nights in the New Marathon Hotel and enjoy the staff and the city.
