Very beautiful, clean, arty, and luxurious stay. Location is the heart of Catania, you can destinate the best restaurants in town in 3 minutes. The team is very kind and always ready to help. This property is very attractive and stands out in this street with flowers on the balcony/terrace. It was beautifully decorated inside, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Our bathroom was separate from the bedroom. There was even a terrace upstairs to relax on but we did not get time to use it. Breakfast was good, provided at a nearby bar 5 minutes walk away. This is a busy street traffic wise but the window shutters cut any noise out completely. The host was friendly and very helpful.

We had a delightful stay at Regina Del Duomo for two nights. Valeria was very helpful and let us bring our luggage early and let us leave it for a few hours after we checked out until we were picked up by a taxi to the airport. Valeria helped arrange the taxi for us also. It would be hard to imagine a more convenient location for the B and B - it is right next to the Duomo on Via Etnea and it was easy to walk to everything else we wanted to see in the city. Via Etnea is full of people walking and musicians in the day and evening but the rooms are quiet and we slept well. The room is large and very comfortable. Prestipino, the cafe, where you get breakfast has a large selection and will be found in many guide books. We would recommend a granite, for sure! We also would recommend taking the steps up to the roof of Chiesa della Badia di Sant'Agata, right next to the Duomo. Try to be up top right at 12 noon and the bells ringing over the city are wonderful.

Everything is as you can see in the pictures and with great host Andrea as a bonus:) You have a public beach accross the street, you have private roof when you can rest after swimming in the sea, AC in the living room and bedroom is working nicely and quietly, bus station to the city center is in walking distance, same as nice grocery store and several restaurants and if you rent a car you can park nearby and see the car from kitchen window.
